How to get to Chiang Mai

By plane

Direct flights several times a day from Bangkok with Thai Airways or Air Asia ( 1 hour 15 minutes )

By railway

Several departures daily from Bangkok Hualampong ( 14 hours). Beside the express trains there are sleeping cars. Prices start from 500 Baht. The trains are cooled down by air condotion > Tip: Take warm clothes

By Bus

Departures every few minutes from Northern Busterminal in Bangkok (10 hours). Many different bus companies offer VIP busses with very comfortable massage seats, snacks and drinks. Price startet from 500 Baht.

By car

From Bangkok highway 32 until Nakhon Sawan. From there continue on highway 1 until Lampang and then on highway 11 until Chiang Mai. The distance is ca. 700 km.
